MCS volunteers support Braywick educational project

Staff at White Waltham based rental software company, MCS Global Ltd, took time out from their software business in January to do some valuable conservation work at Braywick Nature Centre.

20 staff members from MCS got involved spending two days volunteering at Braywick Nature Reserve on wildlife conservation. Employees cut back and coppiced the woodland of Ash and Field Maple trees creating the best environment for wildflowers and orchids to grow whilst making piles of branches as habitats for insects and small mammals.

The Braywick Nature Centre is a centre for nature education and community based conservation run by RBWM and managed in partnership with the charity, Groundwork South. Local schools use the Braywick Nature Centre to benefit from learning about nature and how outdoor nature play can improve children’s happiness and wellbeing.

Speaking of the conservation project, Guy van der Knaap, MD for MCS says, “We’ve really had fun working together as a team on this local project which does excellent work in educating children about their natural environment. We are keen to give back to our local community and want to support the health and wellbeing of the next generation.”
